Sean ‘Gruff’ Grosvenor started the annual event out of his Goodwood Park home, with just 20 of his family and friends, and it has truly morphed into something spectacular, with the 2009 party being held at the prestigious St Andrew’s Golf Club in Moka. The parang group Paraminos welcomed patrons, and the air was one of excitement and celebration.

Guests including Michelle Xavier of Imij & Co., Woodford Café’s Benny Hatem, and model Ashley Fifi danced up a storm as KES the Band took the stage, and worked the crowd into a happy frenzy. The action was also fueled by a bevy of signature cocktails such as Absolut Mango Crush, Grapefruit martinis, Fish in the Blue, Pear Vodka shots and the traditional ponche de crème. The beautiful people donned their Santa hats and wined down to sweet soca and parang, until just after midnight.
